On the day of arrival, our rooms are available to you from 2 p.m. If you arrive after 6 p.m., please send us a message to notify us. On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 10 a.m.

For the entire duration of your stay, you can use our soft bathrobes free of charge.

Sustainability is very important to us, which is why we have decided not to provide disposable slippers for the wellness center in the rooms. However, if you need slippers for the wellness center, felt slippers made from pure sheep wool from the mountains of South Tyrol are available at the reception. These high-quality slippers are suitable not only for hotel use but also for domestic use. The felt slippers are made with sustainable materials at the small Alpine Wool Handcraft Haunold by Zacher in San Candido and contribute to reducing environmental impact. They are comfortable, durable, and pleasant to wear. Furthermore, by purchasing felt slippers from South Tyrol, you support local artisans and contribute to the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. The price of the felt slippers is €25.00 per pair.

A good day begins at the breakfast table and ours is fully laid at our mountain hotel in the Dolomites. From 8 to 10a.m., we serve homemade, farmhouse products as well as fresh baked bread rolls from Lüsen’s bakery, South Tyrolean cheese and sausages, egg specialties, and so much more. Take a seat in our beautiful dining room and enjoy the sun shining in on you in the morning!

What could be better than leaving your car behind for a week? In our boutique hotel in the Dolomites, this is quite possible – at least in summer! With us, you start hiking directly from our front door and get (almost) everywhere by bus. Every hour, you can take public transport from Lüsen to the historic town of Brixen. In summer, a minibus takes you from Herol car park (just a few metres from the hotel) to Lüsen or to Zumis car park, which is also a starting point for many hikes.

Standard cancellation conditions

• For cancellations up to 30 days before arrival, no cancellation fees apply.
• For cancellations up to 15 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount of the stay must be paid.
• For cancellations from 14 days before arrival, 70% of the total amount of the stay must be paid.
• In case of non-arrival, 100% of the total amount of the stay must be paid.
• In case of early departure or late arrival, 70% of each night not used must be paid.

In summer, every Wednesday is your "South Tyrol Experience Day" and the day of rest for our staff. On these Wednesdays, dinner is not served. The breakfast buffet and bar service take place as usual, of course. This day of the week is perfect for getting to know the culinary highlights of South Tyrol away from our hotel in Lüsen. And there are so many! Numerous events in the surrounding villages invite you to enjoy food, drinks, and music. Or how about a romantic evening walk to a nearby hut? For a real Italian pizza, a stroll through town and a good aperitif, it's worth going to Brixen and discovering the beautiful old town on the banks of the Isarco/Eisack river. Are you looking for more tips? We’d be happy to advise you. As dinner is not served on Wednesday, we will credit you 20% of the daily rate.

Hostess Isolde and chef Benni take care of your physical well-being at our accommodation in Lüsen. We serve our scrumptious 3-course menu from 7 p.m. every day. Using beef exclusively from our farm, potatoes from our own fields, and milk and dairy products from the nearby alpine dairies, you can certainly taste their high quality. Do you have food allergies? Contact us, we would be happy to cook fresh and individually for you!
Please note: In summer, Wednesdays are a day off for our staff so dinner is not served on Wednesday nights. Summertime in the middle of the week is the perfect time to get to know other culinary highlights of South Tyrol. There are many! For those who want to get back to Herol a little earlier, the sauna is open until 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

Children staying in their parents' room receive the following discounts:

Children from 0 to 2 years old: 100% discount
Children from 2 to 6 years old: 80% discount
Children from 6 to 10 years old: 60% discount
Children from 11 to 15 years old: 50% discount
From 15 years old in an extra bed: 20% discount
Children under 14 years old are exempt from the visitor’s tax.

Our farm is home to several four-legged friends:

• about 10 to 15 calves
• 3 horses (Kira, Blitz, and Vaiolet)
• several cats
• our golden retriever, Samy

Our animals are fed in the morning and evening. They are always happy to have visitors. There are always interesting conversations to have with farmer Luis at the stable.

What would you like: an aromatic fair trade, organic coffee or a sparkling Aperol spritz? We would be happy to serve you a liquid appetiser at our hotel bar, in the lounge, or on the sun terrace. Here's to coffee chats and get-togethers!

We accept cash, bank transfer, and all major credit and debit cards. Reservations are only considered binding once you have received confirmation by e-mail.

Our hideaway in South Tyrol is not only a paradise for people, but also for dogs. Your dog is very welcome at the bar and conservatory area. Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the dining room and the wellness area! We will be happy to prepare a table for you in the conservatory or on the terrace in summer. For your four-legged sweetheart, we charge 25.00 euros per day without food. Please bring your dog’s blanket and/or basket with for comfort and sleeping!

Our prices are per person and day including both half board and inclusive services. We kindly ask you to pay the visitor's tax of 2,50 euros per day separately on site. You can enjoy a special children's discount for little ones staying in their parents' room. Children under 14 years old do not need to pay the visitor's tax.

If you book a room with breakfast, 20% will be deducted from the half-board price.

The natural bathing pond (without any chemicals) is a small idyllic mountain lake in Lüsen, where you can completely cool off in summer.
