The bar, the heart of our house, is the perfect place for wine and get-togethers. Here, the old walls and frescoes bear witness to a bygone era when Herol was still in the hands of the monastery. Even back then, the nuns appreciated our hideaway in South Tyrol as a place of restoration.

In the afternoon, we serve homemade cakes at the bar.

Sitting on the terrace all day with a good book in hand, sipping an iced Aperol every now and then – perfect, right? After all, that's what a sun terrace is for. When it gets cooler in the evening, we'd be happy to light the fireplaces for you. With a starry sky, cosy blanket and good glass of red wine, it really becomes romantic!

The forest walk is our small and soothing route around Herol. It is a kind of mini journey with various stops to fully experience the forest and nature. Take time to listen to nature – to the singing of birds, rustling of trees, and chirping of crickets.
Here the mind slows down. Inner peace returns. A little more with each step. A beautiful evening walk. Simply come down and enjoy.
